Quiet Architecture
Calm compositions of lines and planes in indigo, navy and gray: blocks of color, a horizon, one thin line that crosses the whole sheet. I think of them as quiet architecture. The larger works are acrylic on cotton canvas, built up in layers, up to about 100 × 100 cm. The series includes Inner Territory, shown in the catalogue of El Territorio Español at Bloom Gallery in Valencia (2026).
Inner Territory
The series explores structure and emptiness as an experience of living in Spain. Lines, boundaries, and color create a tension between the inner state and external space. The restrained palette and minimal forms convey a sense of silence and openness. The vertical element becomes an axis of balance — a point of support within a new territory. In these works, space is perceived as a state rather than a place.
