Winter in Blue

I grew up in the north, close to the water, where winters are long and the landscape stays blue and grey for months. Blue and grey still hold an important place in my palette. Here they appear as bare trees, misty hills, snowy fields, a single tree beside still water. I work in indigo and misty blue, keep to a few shapes, and leave empty space. Saatchi Art included my work in its curated collection “Winter Textures”.
